Hope Sheree has addressed a challenging subject with her latest song, ‘Broken‘.

The single offers a fresh perspective on how society perceives and interacts with individuals with disabilities. The song is designed to inspire those who are emotionally hurt and physically unwell, reinforcing the message that they are truly blessed, even in moments of despair.

Hope, who battles the chronic illness Multiple Sclerosis, understands first-hand how illness is perceived and managed within the Christian community. Hope believes that it is insufficient to simply say “don’t claim it,” or to isolate or shun the afflicted individual. Instead, it is more beneficial to offer encouragement where Jesus himself has proclaimed blessing. Her message conveys that even in the midst of chaos and unforeseen illness, one must hold onto hope. It encourages seeking fortitude in Christ, as it is often through suffering that one can truly feel the presence of God. This engaging song was written by the renowned Stellar-Nominated National Recording artist Ron Summers. Hope teamed up with the gifted producer Reggie Halsey, who, despite being paralyzed from a motor vehicle accident, played a pivotal role in realizing their project.
