Grammy Award winners head up free 7 hour Kent gospel music fest

Grammy and Dove Award winners Donnie McClurkin and Don Moen will spearhead the artist line-up at The Big Buzz Gospel Music Festival. Hosted by KICC Prayer City, Buckmore Park, Kent, The Big Buzz will celebrate its 10 year anniversary with a 7 hour non-stop gospel music extravaganza.

Host Matthew Ashimolowo says: “The Big Buzz is one of the U.K.s biggest free Gospel Music events and it has grown to become a firm fixture on people’s summer calendars. We are expecting some 3,000 people to come down and enjoy the great music on offer this year.

The Big Buzz was born out of our desire to host a free music event that would round off the summer by bringing everyone together to have a great time, make some great memories and enjoy a fantastic atmosphere. Even if the weather decides to change, the Big Buzz is all inside – so the weather won’t stop us!”

This year’s line-up includes Dove Award winner Don Moen, British singer-songwriter Philippa Hanna, multiple Caribbean Gospel Reggae Marlin Award winner Chevelle Franklyn and Dove, Stellar and Grammy Award winner Donnie McClurkin.

During its 10 year history The Big Buzz has featured performances from some of the most celebrated Christian artists including Tasha Cobbs, Sinach, Tye Tribbett, Donald Lawrence, Israel Houghton and Fred Hammond.

The Big Buzz is on Sunday 26th August at KICC Prayer City Buckmore Park, Maidstone Rd, Kent ME5 9QG. Entry is FREE along with a return shuttle service operating across London and in Chatham, Gillingham and Maidstone.
