The song ‘40 Days & 40 Nights‘ is about the challenges Ea North went through and his encounter with homelessness. It talks about struggling with faith while working full-time night shifts at McDonald’s to earn enough to pay rent while going to college during the day.
“Born of Cameroonian heritage in Paris, I grew up in the community of the RnB/Trap music scene in Toronto. My relationship with Christ was reconciled 4 years ago after recovering from homelessness and I started writing songs about what I wrestled with“, shared Ea North.
