As a Cleveland, Ohio native, much of my writing revolves around my hometown. I’d love to help you develop a spoken word poem which centers around the space that you call “home”, whether it’s a physical location, the arms of a loved-one, or any space in between!

In my class we will:
– Define and learn about the art form of Spoken Word Poetry.
-Investigate tools that help develop your unique voice and perspective.
-Write a short, timed spoken word piece which revolves around a space you’ve lived in or visited.
-Read our pieces aloud in a virtual “Spoken Word Night” (optional)
-Allow space for constructive tips/feedback, and performance techniques.
-Q & A.
