Pathways to Music Ministry Success (PMMS) events are designed to inform and equip gospel artists with useful information that will help them build successful gospel ministries. Since PMMS was launched in April 2015 by Marcia Dixon and Roy Francis, a range of subjects pertinent to artists keen to build successful music ministries have been featured. Topics covered include How To Make A Good Video, Music Production and Formulating a Music Promotion Plan.

The first Pathways to Music Ministry success (PMMS) event for 2017 is set for Saturday 25th February at the Croydon Park Hotel, Croydon and will focus on two key subjects
(i) How to plan and budget for your album project and
(ii) How to generate income from your music via royalty payments from PRS .

The speakers are:
Roy Francis co-founder of the PMMS event, has had many years’ experience working with artists in a range of roles including Artist Management, Music Agent and Concert Promoter.
He will give insight on how artists can approach an EP/album project and share information about the whole album making process ranging from setting your budget, to planning your marketing campaign.

Matthew Ojar, a Royalty Consultant, and employee at PRS for Music will share how artists (singer/songwriters, musicians, producers) can collect royalty payments.
He’ll explain PRS’ royalties collection process and how you can benefit. He will also take PMMS attendees through the process of joining the PRS during the event. All you need to do is bring your computer/tablet with you to the session so that you are able to sign up.
