Esther Farinde is the British singer/songwriter and winner of the 2014 series of the UK’s Gospel Talent search television show, Time2Shine.

Born in Nigeria, she grew up in the UK and began singing in the choir at church from the tender age of 4. Her desire to sing spilled over into her school life and she was soon singing regularly during school assemblies. During that time, Esther knew without doubt, that singing was what she was born to do.

Esther’s love of the stage saw her appear on the X Factor and The Voice UK series.

Such all-consuming effort was parked momentarily, as Esther made the conscious decision to get on with her life, away from striving to be recognised as an artist. She adapted to a more regular “9-5” lifestyle and this marked a period of “groundation” for Esther as she reflected and came to reaffirm more acutely that music was her purpose.

Until then, she had been looking in all the wrong places… Music was her heartbeat!!

What of the immediate future? Well, 2015 will see Esther recording her Debut album, performing at a number of festivals in the UK, touring the US as well as performing at the Barbados Gospel Festival.
