After independently releasing my EP (Truths and Tiny Tragedies in 2007), writing and collaborating with other artists, and taking a break away from it all, I’ve finally recorded my debut album No Fear Here, which I’m incredibly proud of!

We are now ready to release this song-cycle and would love for you to come to my live show on Friday 14th October at The Islington, a show to raise the funds for the final push.

Produced by the wonderfully talented and critically acclaimed Femi Temowo [George Benson,Andrea Bocelli,Amy Winehouse,The Roots], it was an absolute honour to have world class musicians such as Troy Miller [Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson, Laura Mvula, Roy Ayers], Karl Rasheed-Abel [Lauva Mvula, Ms Dynamite, Jerry Dammers and Courtney Pine] and James Douglas [Laura Mvula] play on this record.

We’re planning a really special night, Femi Temowo will be sharing music from his latest album which is gorgeous, as well as an amazing l artist I met on the road, Kat Deal. I’ll be sharing songs from No Fear Here and there’ll be more on the night, but why spill all the beans now??
