678NATH
I don’t know if people have been watching and taking in the Christian Drill scene in the UK, but if you have not, 678Nath is definitely up there with some of the best we have. He captured our attention with ‘ROCKY’ in early 2021 and went on to give us 4 cold releases, including ‘God’s Will’ & ‘Moves’, off his debut album “HIDDEN GEMS”. We only expect greater things & greater music for & from 678NATH in 2022.

DJ SHUNZ
The winner of the Reggae Song of the month in December 2021 with her debut release ‘Armour’, the award-winning DJ Shunz & her producing skills may feel like it’s in its infancy, but she has been putting in the work which is now coming to fruition. She received praise from the likes of Lecrae & Radio 1’s Jeremiah Asiamah & with the teasers she has given us already for the next single, 2022 looks like a big year for her.

EFUA B
Have you heard ‘Kingdom Come’? If not, it needs to be in your playlist as soon as possible, because Efua B put her all into that worship song. Part of the Oyo Group with Grace Tena & Michael Oyo, Efua gave us 4 songs & an EP to close out 2021 which all sound superb. She has a sound that needs to be heard more often & the hope is in 2022, she is able to project her songs & her sound to more & more people.

GRACE TENA
‘In Theory’ really did something that felt unheard of for a debut UK Worship Artist of late, it truly transcended from its release in 2021, where it now sits at over 200k streams on Spotify alone. Let us not forget she followed this up with 2 more amazing worship songs in 2021 and although Grace has been blessing us as worship events and live concerts for a few years now, we hope 2022 sees more music released and maybe even a project from the Step FWD Awards – New Artist of the Year!

KONOLA
Gospel Drill Artist & Playlist Curator, Konola really came to prominence in the genre when he released his album “Christian Walk” on Soundcloud and in 2021 he really took the scene by storm with 10 releases (features not included) in 2021, from ‘Finnish’ to ‘Battling’ to ‘Come Outside’ (with Limoblaze), he really put the work in and we can only imagine the new heights Konola is going to hit in 2022.

MARK ASARI
The RnB Sensation, Mark Asari didn’t leave any music stone unturned in 2021, with the EP “By Your Grace” topping off the year nicely and with the single ‘Wings’ feeling like the biggest cherry on top. His song writing coupled with his God-given vocal ability, you know Mark is showing up in 2022, with, hopefully, more live performances & more music releases, Mark is sure to soar this year.

NAFFYMAR
The singer, songwriter & producer from West London, Naffymar gave us some great gospel music in 2020 with her unique sound, including 2 EPs, “Walk With Me” & “House Of God” and in 2021 with songs like ‘Call On You’, ‘Sunshine’ & ‘Original Joy’. The only thing imaginable is that as she has been going from strength to strength in the last 2 years, she will give us an even greater version of herself musically in 2022.

With one of the best Christian RnB albums to come out of the UK in years, Sharyn gave us an amazing project, “In Full Bloom” in 2021 & it was so well put together & thought out, it left the listener looking forward to whatever she has planned for 2022, however long it will need to take because you know that Sharyn is going to give us something great.
