Now then… One half of the duo rap group, Vital Signs, Crown Freedom is set to release his new album ‘AA‘ this Friday! Yes, you read that first sentence correctly.

Marvin, aka Crown Freedom, a native of Manchester, is an urban missionary with The Message Trust; visiting schools, prisons and outreach programmes …. and is an emcee of lyrical repute.

Regarding the album Crown Freedom stated recently this week in a live Facebook feed, “The album is going to drop on Friday, this Friday. Friday the 31st. It’s going to be up for free download. There will be limited physical copies…”

He also mentions that he would be releasing a music video this Friday too! “..Sim Card will be dropping this Friday as well…some of you might have seen the trailer…the teaser, thanks to everyone that shared that..”

Regarding the name of the album ‘AA‘, Crown says, “AA stands for arson attack, amongst other things, it’s down for interpretation as well… you can guess it from the cover. He continues “…I’m addressing uncomfortable issues and stuff that people don’t really want to talk about. Hard issues I guess, but I’m bringing the truth, what I believe to be the truth…”

The mixtape will address topics such as Identity, Fatherlessness, Bullying, Child Sex Exploitation amongst many other social issues that he has encountered through his line of work.

This is sure to be exciting for fans & those in the Manchester scene, as this release comes fast after the release of his comrade, Nu Breed’s own album, “Imprint“.

erm … There are some snippets somewhere online for you impatient ones and they sound mint!
