Each and every one of us in life has a purpose to fulfill but may not know what it is. We try and become involved in church services, activities and missions to feel ‘used’ as a Christian but it doesn’t have to be so church concentrated.
On average we spend most of our time at home or at work with friends, family and colleagues. Is this not a great opportunity to be used for God’s work and spread the good news? Psalm 96:3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! ALL peoples, not just other Christians who already have a relationship with Christ but those who need to seek him.
It doesn’t have to be obvious or declared to the whole office floor; simple words of encouragement, scripture based advice, a quick pray during lunch break is all it takes. How good would it feel knowing you have brought Christ to someone, but then it doesn’t have to stop there, oh no…bring another and another and soon enough you’ll have lost count.
Do not be discouraged if it doesn’t all go to plan, God can see your efforts and you will truly be rewarded for your works.
