For the first time in Barcelona and on the occasion of the ONE HEART International Gospel Festival (19-20 March, 2022), a Gospel choir will be presented where there will be singers of more than 20 nationalities. The mainly Europeans will perform in a concert where they want to highlight the universal values of this music and its spectacular moment of expansion and consolidation at the European level.
Concert-goers will be able to experience the enormous energy that will emerge from a line-up of more than 100 artists and great soloists including Isaac Cates (USA), Bazil Meade MBE (UK), Hans Christian Jochimsen (DK), Lurine Cato MBE (UK), Didier Likeng (B) and Ramon Escalé (CAT). The choir will be made up of a selection of some of the most relevant choirs in Europe in addition to the local Messengers, Esclat Gospel Singers and Goizargi Gospel Choir.
We got in touch with Lurine Cato MBE who has been super busy these past few weeks with her new “Dance” EP doing the rounds and racking up lots of airplay. She told us, “I’m so excited about the One Heart Festival happening this weekend in Spain, there’s just something special about the choirs in Europe, they’re so hungry to learn more.”
Apart from the workshops, the concert at Palau de la Música will be composed of great classics and contemporary Gospel to achieve the closest connection and complicity with the public. It will be an unforgettable experience!
