UK based singer-songwriter Ashley D’aguiar releases his new single ’He Who Began a Good Work’ from his forthcoming debut EP “Promises Vol. I”. This is the follow up to the singles ‘Different’ and ‘Fearfully & Wonderfully Made’ and another powerful reminder of God’s promises towards us.
Ashley says, “This song came from a place after walking with the Lord these many years. Through ups and downs. Wins and losses. God has continued to be faithful in my life. It’s so easy to get consumed by everything that’s happening and while it’s necessary to have an idea about what’s going on I know that by consuming myself with the affairs of this world will only make me anxious. So I choose to believe in my God’s power, which is greater than anything I face. I choose to hold on to what God says, rather than negative things I hear every day.”
Referring to Isaiah 55:9-11, this track delivers the message that God’s promises are truly faithful. His promises are yes and amen, what He says He will do. The chorus echos the response of praise and thanksgiving that His characteristics never change. He is good all the time, now in 2022 and forevermore.
