‘Your Love‘ was created based on Romans 8:38-39 “nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God”.
At that time in her life, singer songwriter Alexandra O, felt like she wasn’t doing enough, praying enough, reading enough and started to believe God was upset with her or loved her less. But He would always remind Alex of this verse and that even in her best moments and her really bad moments, He still loves her the same. Alex knows that many others have struggled with this so she wanted to create a song about it to remind people that God loves them regardless.
Alex has been singing at church from the age of 5. She began writing R&B songs at the age of 15 being inspired by the sounds of Toni Braxton and Brandy. However, gospel & worship music has always been a big part of her life, being a daughter of a choir leader, Mary Mary and CeCe Winans were constantly played at home.
Alexandra O is now a worship leader at Imprint Church London and has co-wrote and led songs with Imprint Worship. She is also a part of the music collection Imprint Sound and is now embarking on her solo career.
Her music is inspired by her faith and relationship with God. Her desire is to convey her love for God through her music and to express the words some may struggle to articulate.
Alex is influenced by many different artists such as Maverick City Music, Elevation Worship, Steffany Gretzinger, Jekalyn Carr & Travis Greene.
