The song ‘How Come’ starts off with guitar building nicely with strings then the harmony glides in allowing the listener to experience the heart and feeling expressed in Millicent’s well suited vocals. Great rhythmic patterns for the vocal melody in this track!
Inspired by her Christian faith and diverse musical legends such as Whitney Houston, Dionne Warwick, Heather Headley and Yolanda Adams, the Aberdeen based singer is known for her soul stirring renditions and work with local charities. In 2014 and 2015, Millicent performed at The Friends of ANCHOR’s ‘Courage on the Catwalk’ event to raise funds for cancer treatment and research. She is also a member of the band at her local church and Sound of Many Waters; a gospel choir based in Aberdeen, Scotland.
