30 years after ‘Shout to the Lord’, Darlene Zschech releases reimagined new EP

After many years of focusing on different musical endeavours, Darlene Zschech has announced the release of a special album titled “Testament,” which is introduced by a brand-new EP of the same name. Stirred by friends and family who reminded her that ‘Shout to the Lord’ had turned 30 years old, she decided to mark this moment with a collection of reimagined legacy songs and new tracks.

Taking time out to put together this offering seems almost indulgent, yet I have sensed in my spirit that I’m doing exactly what God is asking me to do,” Zschech shares.

The new EP introduces five songs, including the brand-new title track, and includes special features such as Martin Smith, SVRCINA, the Australian Christian Orchestra, and Zschech’s youngest daughter, Zoe Cameron. Opening with the beloved ‘Shout to the Lord’, which resonates with a fresh touch, the new EP captures the sound of a new season in Zschech’s ongoing contribution to the worship of the Church.
