UK Entertainment Awards celebrates UK Gospel music this Sunday 19th Nov.

This weekend will be buzzing with Award fever as Sunday night is the UK Entertainment Awards (UEA) 2017 at the London Marriott, Hotel West India Quay. Excited to celebrate and recognise creatives within urban entertainment, they will be hosting a night of brilliance!

Founder Shinel Crichlow has dedicated this year’s award show to Gospel music and UK Garage. The reason for this is because she felt Gospel music has a big platform in churches and in the United States.  When Lurine Cato sang her own version of Running by  Naughty Boy ft Beyonce last year, her amazing performance and testimony changed the life’s of people that night. Gospel music is not only music it’s therapy.

This year the event will open with a never-seen-before gathering of Gospel greats and nominees. The first act will be Isaiah-Raymond Dyer, Jason Nicholson Porter, Toye D Toye and Charles Dada singing together, followed by performances from Triple O, Sarah Teibo, Becca Folkes, Andrew Bello, Tracey Jane Campbell and Volney Morgan & New Ye and Lurine Cato (nominees in bold), along with many other secular artists.

This will be a first and extraordinary affair,  the competition is neck and neck between the nominees who are all very popular amongst the voting public including the likes of Stevo The Mad Man (Best Personality act) Bk Chat World (Best Online Show) Michael Dappa  (Best Comedian) Becca Folkes (Best Gospel) and more. Visit for more details on this year’s nominees.

The night will be hosted by Yung Filly from Wall of Comedy, along with Special Guests including DADDY ERNIE, Isiah Raymond (Motivational speaker and gospel artist) and more.
