Dynamic singer Mike Soul releases preview of single “Hold On”

Singer/songwriter and musician Mike Soul is back with his 2nd single from his upcoming debut album! ‘Hold On’ is different from his last single, which was done over a hip-hop beat; he has chosen to sing instead of rap on this track. The single will be out on Friday 5th January 2018! Available on all major digital outlets!

Mike Soul’s love of variety and out of the box style has developed over the years from his passion for music, his colourful journey has included many different opportunities where he has sung and played for various genres. He has gone from backing vocals for Leona Lewis when she was at the height of her fame, Celebrity ‘dancing on ice’ to recording vocals for the renown household band Westlife on their number one song ‘Flying Without Wings‘ in a London studio! This has given Mike an ear for appreciating different genres, which can be clearly heard on his upcoming album.

As he has solely produced all the songs on his album he has been able to fully embrace his diversity and bring his creativity alive! From hard hitting hip hop beats, rock influenced guitars to soulful soothing vocals blended with acoustic sounds on the piano. He has left no stone unturned!

In this song Mike reflects on faith and the promise made to us by God through His Son Jesus; ‘We live in a World where hope seems futile, the young and the old are affected by tragedy and distress but our faith is the only thing that can truly carry us through in times of trouble, in times of need…In times of anguish in times of despair where life seems to overwhelm us.

The message of this song is just that ‘Hold On’ Don’t give up on your faith and the promises God has made us, ‘Hold on!’, I tell ya!.
