Lurine Cato re-unites with Producer Ian Copeland Green on New Single

Being what we hope will be this year’s first of more new music from the MOBO Award Winner, Lurine Cato ‘Be Loved’ is set to be released worldwide on Feb 9, 2018. Dubbed as a ‘continuous replay chill’ track, the lyrics ‘please don’t turn away, let yourself Be Loved’ might just prove to be a hit amongst many! LA-based producer DJ Dodge (Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, Busta Rhymes) said “Song is dope, great vibe and simplicity” and went on to praise Cato’s delivery on the track.

Lurine Cato – ‘Be Loved’

With soft, serene, and silky vocals (in contrast to her last big hitters like, ‘Wave it Away’ and ‘Power’), Lurine conjures up more musical surprises with ‘Be Loved’ and highlights her ability to write a variety of genres – once again, solidifying the love and respect she gains from in Gospel Music and fans alike as one of the UK’s most ‘unique’ artists of our time.

Reuniting with long-time producer and friend, Ian Copeland Green (Michael Jackson, Jennifer Lopez), the cleverly stripped-back track was mastered by NYC’s Grammy Award-winning producer James Cruz (Juvenile, Mary Mary, Lil Kim), with artwork by London-based artist Otesanya. Be Loved’ releases on Friday, 9 February, 2018 on all Digital Music Platforms, with pre-order available on iTunes now.
