Platinum-selling Singer/Songwriter Lauren Evans will be amongst the Guest Speakers at this year’s 2nd Annual Music & Media Conference, hosted by aStepFWD. She will feature in a special segment introduced for the first time, after feedback from last year’s conference and UK Christian Chart submission analysis.
Based in Los Angeles, California, Evans is a 20-year Music Industry Veteran who has written for hit singles for some of the most successful Artists in both Mainstream and Contemporary Christian Music. Her songwriting credits include UK #1 Platinum-selling single “Bad Boys” by X Factor Winner Alexandra Burke, “One Step At A Time” by American Idol Winner Jordin Sparks, Destiny’s Child Alumni Kelly Rowland‘s “No Man, No Cry”, and Bethel Music‘s “Glory to Glory” (taken from the #1 Album ‘Have It All).
Over the course of her career Lauren has amassed major award nominations for the BRITs, Daytime Emmys, Latin GRAMMYs & Billboard Awards, and the Stellars. She is also an ASCAP Award recipient. As a Performer, Evans has sung for Maranatha! Music, Kierra Sheard, Franklin Graham Ministries, and the late Andrae Crouch.
During the upcoming Conference, which will return to the prestigious Westminster University Marylebone Campus on the new date of September 23rd, 2017 Lauren will be partaking in a Special Songwriting Masterclass, sharing her diverse knowledge and skills on the Creative Process, as well as delivering practical advice to Aspiring Creatives on developing your skills as a Christian & Gospel Music Songwriter (and the importance thereof).
